A new non-perturbative bosonic string configuration
Jean Alexandre (Kings College London)
06 July 2007, 09:00 - 10:45
We present a new time-dependent string configuration, in graviton and dilaton backgrounds, which satisfies Weyl invariance in a non-perturbative way, in any target space dimension. The key point in order to achieve this property is to have beta functions which are homogenous in the time coordinate of the string, to all orders in the Regge slope. This work was done with John Ellis and Nick Mavromatos, and was published in JHEP 12 (2006) 071.
