Signatures of Pseudo-degenerate WIMP dark matter

WIMP models of cold dark matter, which exhibit nearby states with an MeV-scale mass splitting, have a number of interesting signatures in direct and indirect searches. Such near-degeneracies are often favoured in models which for example require efficient co-annihilation to ensure the correct relic density. Ill discuss indirect constraints related to the observed galactic 511 keV line, and also the impact on direct terrestrial searches which may be complicated by recombination-type processes.
